Sam is a fully qualified and registered farrier, holding the Diploma of the Worshipful Company of Farriers (DipWCF). He gained his qualification in 2018 after completing a four-year apprenticeship with Master Farrier Tom Smith FWCF in Hampshire, UK.

After setting up his own practice in 2018, Sam has developed a passion for helping horses perform to the best of their ability. A keen horseman himself, Sam takes pride in understanding each horse’s biomechanics and natural way of going. His attention to detail and commitment to balance, comfort, and performance have helped many horses achieve their goals.
